Ministries
Ambassadors for Christ Children's Ministry: Children from ages 0-13. Teaching and
training our children to be skilled in the Word.
Praise & Worship Team: Responsible for all vocal singing and
preparing the hearts and spirit through praising & worship, setting the
atmosphere for the Word.
Iintercessory Prayer: Before each service, praying for our pastors,
ministry, the unsaved, political leaders, families, other ministries for God
to move mightily during our services and communities.
Spiritual Foundation: Preparing new believers and mature saints to
have a solid foundation based on the Word of God.
Men Fellowship (Men of Valor): Time of fellowship for the men,
dealing with spiritual, emotional, mentally, and social issues that men face
in the society.
Women Fellowship (Women of Destiny): Time of fellowship for the women
dealing with spiritual, emotional, mentally, physically, and social issues
that women face in this society. Discovering their purpose.
Family Ministry: Church picnics, Sunday fellowship, lunch after
Sunday morning service (one Sunday out of the month), Church workday.
Music Ministry: Responsible for all music, for every service and
special events.
Pastoral Counseling: Counseling with pastor, concerning marriages,
death, relationships, tragic events, and general counseling based on the
Word of God to provide spiritual direction, correction, and protection.
Marriage Workshop: To enhance marriage relationship, to mend broken
relationships, to educate couples how to have a long prosperous, fun-filled
marriage based on the Word of God.
Local Outreach: Reaching out to our communities through prayer
marches, street ministries, meeting the needs of the community.
Youth Ministry: Keep our young people involved through dance team,
drill or stomping, field trips. Known as Generation Excellence.
Short Term Mission: For those who called to be a missionary to the
inner cities of America. Going into rural, ghettos, and poverty-stricken
areas to minister Jesus Christ.
Tape Ministry: Responsible for taping of all services and duplication
of tapes. Also controls sound room and house system.
Greeters: Responsible for greeting people with a happy, joyous and
loving smile. Making sure that visitors feel welcome.
Usher: Keeping overall order within Church services before, during,
and after.
Television Ministry: Taping all programs.
Prison Ministry: Bringing the Word of God to those that are
incarcerated.
South African Missions: We are one church in two countries, Living
Word Christian Center U.S.A. and South Africa.
