The New Living Word Christian Center
New location 1639 Ryan St. Lake Charles, LA.
We’re going to the next dimension! Living Word Christian Center was
birthed by Joseph and Cathy Banks in their family room in 2001. Within the
first several months of 2001, LWCC purchased several buildings including a
350+ seat sanctuary.
In December, 2005, due to continuous growth and expanding ministries, LWCC
purchased prime real estate property in downtown Lake Charles. Two
buildings, over 100,000 square feet, include an 800 seat sanctuary, an
administrative office complex, twenty plus classrooms, a youth and
children’s church, fitness studio and weight room and are located at 1639
Ryan Street.
LWCC will maintain its church and property located at 315 North Goos
Boulevard for community outreaches and an up and coming daycare. LWCC will
be one church in two locations and in two countries.
